    What a VICOBA is

    A VICOBA is a Tier 4 community microfinance group under GN 678, registered with a district council. A group has 10 to 50 members, one meeting place, and a constitution that holds its rules.

    Registration and constitution

    Settings → Organization Type & Policy holds the council registration particulars (date, district, ward, street) and the constitution rules: meeting rhythm and day, the share band per meeting, the social fund contribution, cycle length, longest loan term, the share-out basis and the social fund's disposition at share-out.

    Where to start

    The group menu has members, contributions, meetings, leadership and reports. Start by opening a cycle (Cycle & Shares), running a meeting (Meetings), and finishing with the share-out (Share-out).
