Meetings

Open the cash box at a meeting, record shares and contributions, then close with a second count.

Workflow

  1. 1

    Open the cash box

On the Kikao tab of an in-session group meeting, open the box with a counted amount. The money counters and key holders are named, and the book balance is snapshotted.

  2. 2

    Record the meeting's activity

Record share purchases, social fund contributions, fines and loan repayments against the meeting. The cash book is derived from those records, never from a running total, so it can be rebuilt at any time.

  3. 3

    Close and count again

Count the box again at closing. A difference between the count and the books is kept, not corrected. The meeting report carries a cash box section.
